Admission Procedure

Thank you for choosing Excel International School! As one of the most popular British international schools in Al Ain, we have very limited seats available. We highly encourage you to start the admissions process as early as possible to secure a place for your child at our esteemed British school in Al Ain.
ONLINE ADMISSION PROCESS FOR PARENTS
1. Click here to register your child.
2. You will be redirected to the Online Admissions Portal
3. Select the relevant Academic Year, enter student's details, upload the required documents, and click "Next".
Please note: The guardian's email address will serve as the username for the online admission account. The account will be created automatically, and upon successful submission, login credentials will be sent to the guardian’s email for tracking the application status.
4. Enter the guardian's details, upload the required documents, and click Submit.
Application Tracking Process
After submitting the application form, parents will receive a confirmation email containing a username and password to track their application status. The email will also include a direct link to log in to the portal for application tracking.
Please note: Once the form is submitted, parents will not be able to edit any information in the portal.
Waiting log
In case there are no more seats available, the online applications will be converted into a waiting log. As soon as seats become available across grades, the applicants will be called sequentially as per their waiting log number.
Age rule from ADEK
Please take note of the age rule directive from ADEK as follows:

| KG1 / FS2: | 4 years |
| KG2 / Year 1: | 5 years |
| Grade 1 / Year 2: | 6 years |
Admission will be granted on the following conditions
- Siblings are given a priority.
- Strict compliance to school’s policies and agreement to regular payment.
- The baseline assessment results of the applicant will be considered.
- Students with complete documents will be considered first.
- Admission will not be given to siblings of fees defaulters and irregular fee payers.
- The decision of the Head Teacher remains final.
- Parents agree that admission automatically entails consent on the fee payment policy & transport policy of the school.
- The registration fee which is collected at the time of admission is non-refundable.
Admission Documents Required
- Original Emirates ID of the student and both parents.
- Student’s passport copy with visa page.
- Sponsor’s passport copy with visa page.
- 4 passport-size photographs of the student.
- Copy of the birth certificate, if not issued in the UAE, then it must be attested by:
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country from where the certificate is issued.
- UAE Embassy or Consulate in the country from where the certificate is issued.
- Countersigned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE.
- Immunization (Vaccination) card.
- Attested Statement of Marks/Report Card for Year 3/Grade 2 and above, if not issued in the UAE.
- Attested Original Transfer Certificate (TC), if not issued in the UAE, then it must be attested from:
- Ministry of Education or the Education Office in the country from where the certificate is issued.
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country from where the certificate is issued.
- UAE Embassy or Consulate in the country from where the certificate is issued.
- Countersigned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE.
- Equivalency Certificate from MoE (For a class transfer from outside the UAE (Grades 2-11) issued by general education institutes outside the UAE) https://www.moe.gov.ae/en/EServices/ServiceCard/pages/CertEquivalentMove.aspx
- GL Assessments (for Year 5/Grade 4 and above) and/or CAT4 (if any)
- Undertaking from Parent (wherever necessary)
- Proof of Student’s Residential Address (Provide Water & Electricity Bill, or House renting or ownership contract or correct location as Plot No, Road no (for Al Ain), Sector (community), Zone (or District for Al Ain).
