Students Across Al Ain Invited to Compete for National Championship Spot.

January 7, 2026 – Excel International School, Al Ain, in partnership with Edustream, is proud to announce the second edition of the Al Ain Regional STEAM Robotics Competition. Following the overwhelming success of last year's inaugural event, we are once again opening our doors to students from across the Al Ain region for this exciting celebration of innovation and technology.
 
The competition will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Khalifa Bin Zayed Hall, Al Ain Club SG.
 
Last year's competition brought together some of the brightest young minds in Al Ain, showcasing remarkable talent in robotics, artificial intelligence, and innovative problem-solving. This year, we're excited to expand the opportunity and provide even more students with a platform to demonstrate their STEAM capabilities.
 
A Path to National Competition
Top-performing teams will earn the opportunity to represent Al Ain at the National Robotics Competition in Dubai, competing against the best young innovators from across the United Arab Emirates.
 
Competition Categories
We've designed six competition categories to challenge and engage students from Foundation Stage through Grade 12:
 
AI, Robotics & Drones (2 students per team)
 
Enjoy AI Junior – FS1 to Grade 2 (Year 3)
Our youngest competitors will explore the fundamentals of AI and robotics through age-appropriate challenges.
Enjoy AI Senior – Grades 3-6 (Years 4-7)
Students will tackle more complex AI and robotics tasks, demonstrating problem-solving and programming skills.
Drone Soccer – Grades 3-6 (Years 4-7)
Teams will compete in this exciting sport that combines drone piloting skills with strategic gameplay.
Skyline Adventure – Grades 7-12 (Years 8-13)
Our most advanced category challenges older students with sophisticated drone navigation and mission completion.
 
Project-Based Learning (maximum 4 students per team)
 
Innovators – Grades 3-6 (Years 4-7)
Teams will develop and present innovative solutions to real-world problems using STEAM principles.
Challengers – Grades 7-12 (Years 8-13)
Advanced teams will tackle complex challenges requiring deep research, design thinking, and technical execution.

The registration fee of AED 150 per participant includes:
