EIS Prophet Muhammad's (Peace Be Upon Him) Birthday

Excel International School commemorated the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) with a meaningful assembly that brought students and staff together in reflection and learning.

The programme included Quran recitation, thoughtful reflections, and reminders of the Prophet’s timeless teachings, which continue to inspire generations around the world. His messages of kindness, compassion, peace, and respect were highlighted as guiding principles for daily life.

The occasion also emphasised unity and humility, encouraging students to follow the noble example of the Prophet in their words and actions. It was a special gathering that deepened understanding of his life and values, leaving the school inspired to uphold them in everyday living.

Through this celebration, students were reminded of the importance of carrying forward values that strengthen character and faith. The assembly also created a space for reflection on how the Prophet’s example can guide decisions in today’s world. Such meaningful moments help build a school environment rooted in respect, kindness, and responsibility.

6. Students introduced the assembly by explaining its purpose and the significance of celebrating the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Their introduction set the tone for the programme, preparing everyone to reflect on his noble qualities and the values he exemplified.

The assembly began with a Quran recitation by the students, creating an atmosphere of reflection and reverence. This was followed by the UAE National Anthem, which filled the hall with a sense of pride and unity. Together, these moments set a respectful and inspiring tone for the programme, reminding everyone of the values of faith and patriotism.

Following the opening, students shared thoughtful insights about the noble qualities of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). They spoke about his kindness, honesty, compassion, and dedication to peace, reminding everyone of the timeless values he exemplified. Their words served as an inspiration for all to reflect on these virtues and practise them in daily life.

The assembly also featured a short play by the students, demonstrating how Al Mawlid Al-Nabawi (Peace Be Upon Him) is celebrated. Through their performance, they highlighted traditions of remembrance, unity, and gratitude, allowing everyone to appreciate the significance of this blessed occasion in a meaningful and engaging way.

Students performed a Nashid, invoking the blessings and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Their melodic rendition filled the assembly with a sense of devotion and reverence, inspiring everyone to reflect on his noble character and the spiritual lessons he imparted. The performance reminded all of the importance of faith, gratitude, and following the path of kindness, compassion, and integrity exemplified by the Prophet.

 

Another beautiful Nashid was performed, led by Ms. Noha Mahmoud, HOD Arabic, alongside senior student Rokaya Ibrahim. Their harmonious rendition filled the assembly with devotion and reverence, inspiring everyone to reflect on the teachings and noble character of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). The performance beautifully emphasised the values of faith, gratitude, kindness, and compassion, leaving a lasting impression on all present.

Before concluding the assembly, Ms. Agnes Nathaniel shared some thoughtful reflections with the students. She spoke about the importance of values such as kindness, honesty, and compassion, encouraging learners to practice these positive qualities in their daily lives. Her words left the students motivated and inspired as the assembly came to a close.
