PTA Meeting: Strengthening the Home-School Partnership

The recent Parent–Teacher Association (PTA) meeting provided an insightful platform for dialogue and shared understanding between the school and parents. The session highlighted key areas aimed at enhancing student development and strengthening the partnership within the school community.

Discussions centred on the new attendance policy, ensuring that every student maintains consistent participation and engagement in learning. Updates on academic and curriculum developments were also presented, offering parents a clear overview of the school’s educational framework and its alignment with international standards.

The meeting further addressed communication channels, emphasising the importance of timely and transparent exchanges between parents and educators. Attention was also given to student wellbeing and safety, reinforcing the school’s commitment to providing a secure and supportive environment conducive to learning.

Lastly, opportunities for parent involvement were explored, encouraging families to play an active role in the school’s initiatives and activities.

Ms. Riddhi Boajraj explained the merits and demerits system for students, clarifying how it supports positive behaviour and encourages accountability in the school community.

Ms. Agnes Nathaniel encouraged parent involvement in school activities, highlighting volunteering roles such as events, library support, reading programs, and trips, and emphasizing the valuable role parents play in supporting student growth and strengthening the home–school partnership.
