Week of Welcome: An Enthusiastic Start to the New Academic Year

The Week of Welcome set an energetic and inspiring tone for the new academic year, bringing students and staff together in a welcoming atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, positivity, and excitement.

From the very first day on campus, the school community embraced the start of a new chapter with renewed energy and optimism. A diverse range of engaging activities, interactive experiences, and school-wide initiatives created a lively environment where students could meet new people, strengthen friendships, explore new experiences, and confidently settle into the year ahead.

More than simply marking the return to school, Week of welcome provided a purposeful and memorable beginning to the academic year. Week of Welcome: Little Learners, Big Energy! Our FS2 and Year 1 learners brought an amazing sense of energy, excitement, and enthusiasm to the Week of welcome. Through joyful activities, playful experiences, new friendships, and exciting discoveries, our youngest learners welcomed the new academic year with confidence, curiosity, and lots of smiles. Week of Welcome: Creating, Connecting, and Having Fun! Our Year 2 to Year 6 learners embraced the Week of Welcome with enthusiasm, creativity, and plenty of joyful moments. From engaging art activities and exciting experiences to socialising with friends and connecting with their teachers, every activity brought opportunities to participate, express themselves, and enjoy the excitement of a new school year. WOW Week provided a wonderful opportunity for our learners to connect, form new friendships, showcase their creativity, and step into the new academic year with confidence and enthusiasm. Week of Welcome: Connect, Create, Challenge! Our higher year levels embraced the Week of Welcome with enthusiasm, confidence, and a strong spirit of community. Through self-introductions, engaging team activities, sports challenges, and an exciting recycled newspaper fashion activity, students had opportunities to express their individuality, work collaboratively, and take on new challenges. A special highlight was their interaction with Ms. Agnes Nathaniel, Head Teacher, who warmly welcomed the students and engaged with them throughout the activities. With creativity, collaboration, confidence, and plenty of enjoyment, The Week of Welcome provided a memorable and inspiring start to the new academic year.
